It is one of the sanctuary beaches of Olive Ridley Turtles in Sunderban. The turtles move to the shallow coastal waters from a long distance to breed. The turtles are thinked to travel upriver as far as 100 km from the sea mouth into the Sunderban.It is a bellied place in Sundarban to all kind of travelers for the presence of the rare Olive Ridley Tortoise. This is principally thriving in shallow waters and beaches. During the engendering season of the Ridley turtles, the turtles approach this place from distant areas.Every visitors can enjoy the beauty of the nature.
